THIS IS NOT THE END: Launch party

On the 2 June, 2022, THIS IS NOT THE END officially launched into the universe. Okay, so it was just the UK, but still. You know what I mean.

To say that this was the most incredible book launch I could’ve ever hoped for would be an understatement. The sheer amount of people there and the support and love they projected onto my very nervous self was amazing. I know it sounds so stupid to say that this book wouldn’t have been possible if not for everyone around me, but this is utterly true. This book would genuinely not exist without everyone around me.

On the night, there was a tiny version of the Killer Ice Cream van (incredible), Ronaldo’s Ice Cream posing as Killer (yes, there was Pogo’s Surprise and Whipped Cream Wuornos), Motown music, and just general good vibes.

To my family, who flew out from California; my husband, who effortlessly turned into my hype man; my winder family unit and my friends, old and new; the staff at the Norwich Waterstones; and the people that just came because they thought this book sounded like their jam - thank you. What an incredible evening.
